Hello all, after a bit of collective wisdom. I have a 2018 plate rs3 saloon, owned from new. Only 6700 miles (small commute) and stock aside from cete avc and awg ghost.
Earlier this week I went to start the car and all the hard wired warning lights (Inc diesel glow plug light) strobed on start up along with the adaprive cruise vc symbol and esc vc light. Turned car and ignition on and off a few times and problem persisted. Car ran fine and all buttons in the cockpit were fully functional. I drove to work (5miles) and car behaved normally.
Pulling into work car park and got a warning stating ignition turning off and vehicle functionality may be limited. Then the vc shutdown and turned off after playing the ignition off animation. But the car was still running! Engine and all functionality were fine! I got a shaky phone video of the initial start up with warning lights strobing and a short clip of the car driving with vc off as I parked (both off public roads). Shut down car and restarted and vc started but warning lights continued to strobe. Shut down and called audi assist.
Got a generic recovery truck about 2h later. Car started with no warning lights and no errors stored on obd scan.
Adui dealer have now had the car for 2 days and found no issues after what they are telling me is a full electric year down and reassembly. They are now blaming the cete avc.
Has anyone had these issues or similar with avc or ghost? I assume I'll have to remove the avc and ghost and wait for the problem to reoccur.
It happened once before about 3 weeks ago as I pulled the car off drive and into garage in the evening, got the warning lights flashing, but car was fine in the morning so I thought nothing of it. It was just after the cars first service at audi.
Any opinions / experiences / advice welcome. Thanks in advance.
