Warning - Connect app errors

Just to alert anyone using the Connect app to track their milage.
The app definitely does not agree with the odometer. Please don't rely on the app if you are recording milage to claim expenses, for example. Always check the odometer.
I hope this helps others to avoid the hassle I've just been put through.
The Audi Connect help line jumped on this, but then want screen shots, information about phone type and all sorts of other feedback. So it feels like I'm diagnosing their issues for them.
Also trying to buy a 'function on demand' and the process keeps failing. They clearly don't want my money either.

I have not experienced a significant difference between the mileage in the app, and the actual car reading, weirdly the app always reads 1 mile less than the car, but the app always updates with this 1 mile difference.
I have also made a FOD purchase with no issues. Which country are you in?

Sorry, just seen you are in Norfolk, I'm in England too, wonder if anyone else in the UK is experiencing the same.

I just checked this morning and there's 3 miles discrepancy between the odometer and the app. I've tried refreshing the app and even restarting my phone and the car but the discrepancy remains.

An update: According to Audi Connect support it is normal for the app and odometer to disagree by up to 3 miles.
