Vibration in 4th Gear

Pretty much as the title says - when in 4th gear (and only 4th gear) the gear stick seems to vibrate quite a bit, is this something I should be conerned about or is it a common occurence?

1st,2nd,3rd, & 5th are all ok.

Gearbox bearings. Has a similar issue in a Golf few years back.

Being a bit thick - is this a gearbox out job ? Or is it something that you do by removing the gear stick?

No it's internals mate. I'd go to a gearbox specialist to confirm it, mine was done by just replacing the 4th gear, dropped gearbox out and replaced. Only for 3rd to go bang 2 weeks later and shatter the box completly.

If it's shot, get a replacement, not a repair.
