Hi looking at buying a VCDS and wondering if you guys have any specific place you have bought them from and what cables are need any help appreciated, thanks

Aliexpress, though I suspect all the ones marked V2 probably are not actually V2 clones but the old hex can. For £20 you can't go far wrong though if you are just playing about with it. If you use it professionally or have a very new car its well worth popping for a legitimate version though.

 

Ive got a cable for sale. 3VIN with 1 VIN left (you can pay Rosstech for more).

Bought from Gendan last year. HEX V2.

 

I would buy a Carly or Carisa rather than vcds tbh, can be used on different marques then.
