My friend Has D Can cable... I was thinking of buying just the Ross Tech software - is this cable compatible?

Correction : it's a K + D can cable

If you want just the software then you'll have to get vcds lite, which doesn't have all the functions of the vcds full software if you want vcds full, you need to purchase the cable as the license for the software is in the cable.
