VCDS Won't Save Changes to Value.

Hi,

I have installed an AMI cable to my 2010 A6 3G MMI system, and I need to get into the green screen to activate it. Unfortunately the MMI unit is not configured to allow me access to the green screen.

So I asked my local independent garage to use their VCDS to activate it.

5F Information Electr
Adaption 10 -> Channel 06 -> Change value from 0 to 1

Which they have done, but unfortunately it won't save, no matter what they do.

Any ideas as to the problem?

Went to an auto electrical company - all sorted in 5 mins.

Must have just been user error....

Cool cool , did he explain what you had did wrong as it could be helpful info to pass on to others on here .

If you watch this video, it appears that you need to test it, by clicking on the TEST button, this appears to activate the SAVE button. I am guessing the independent garage didn't click on the TEST....?
