VCDS real time data on the B7 plaform.

Evening chaps,
I'm looking for clarification on a vcds question if possible.
After doing any vcds scan any faults found are logged and specific information is saved until the faults are cleared , weather fixed or just cleared for the session.
My question is this, can specific components be scanned or viewed in realtime to see specific data such as voltage , pressure etc whilst the engine is running.
If a scan shows stored fault data from lets say an N276 and the log shows it as 11.98 volts , can vcds then be run to show what voltage its receiving with engine running etc.

any info would be greatfully received .

Thanks Richard, every bit helps, seems 11.0 volts is minimum requirement on a few items .
I'm going to run vcds tomorrow and have a good old session to see what comes to light.
