Hi all

I've had the error code below appear below last night which has prompted a DPF warning light on my 3.0 bitdi 2014 A6.
The error code will NOT clear.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Strange the mmi would flag dpf issue, I would say it's a coincidence as the 2 aren't linked per se, but nothings impossible.

Never known a software version cause dpf error.

Would need to check the subsystem part number incase it's a dpf controller.

Mine did this after software update. Let it do a regen and been fine since. I think it had tried two or three incomplete regens before warning came on

Force a regen & see if it goes away.

Only concern is the software version error.

The 5F module has not thing to do with the engine, it could be removed and the engine would still work as normal.

Stick a full scan up so we can better see what is going on.

UPDATE

Been out in the car today, drove around 6 miles and the car went into limp mode.
DPF light went out and the flashing coil light illuminated.
Did a VCDS scan when I got home, only module showing a fault is listed below.
Can anyone tell me how to manually how to do a manual dpf regen if this is what is needed to resolve the issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Use security access and then go to basic settings for service regen. Make sure your tank is full

I had the particulate filter warning come up on my SQ5 yesterday.
The manual tells you to drive in S mode for 15 minutes while keeping the revs over 2k if possible.
I had no fault codes though

I have tried to force a manual regen 3 times times without success, on each occasion vcds times out for safety reasons.
During each forced regen the figures in the attached screenshot fluctuate up and down?
I have been advised to clear the fault codes prior to performing forced regen as the process will not complete, unfortunately I'm unable to do this as the fault codes reappear as soon as the engine is restarted.
It has also been suggested that I may have a problem with the DPF pressure sensor which is stopping me from activating a forced regen.
Does anyone know the location of the DPF pressure sensor on the 3.0 bitdi engine?
Any thoughts guys?
