VCDS/Carista alternatives

Hi guys.

I'd like to do a few basic mods using an elm327 bluetooth ODB2 connector from fleabay which connects to torque without any issues.

Is there any cheap way to do this without VCDS? My module doesn't seem to work with Carista - does anyone know of any alternatives?

Buy the Carista OBD module, i bought mine on Amazon for just £15.

I have been a happy OBDEleven user. You purchase the dongle, and can manually code for free using VCDS guides. Only purchase auto code credits if not coding-literate.
