Vcds b8 a4 won't regenerate..?

I am trying to regenerate the dpf in a 2008 b8 a4 2.0tdi code cag

every time I try it revs up a tiny but and then finishes or else tells me aborted for safety reasons any one with simular problems..?

Check the correct security access is used as sometimes its under coding II & other times its under security access, had the same issue the other day.

Ya I used the right security access in security access and them into either adaption or basic settings for the dpf regen

Don't hold the pedal down, just momentary press & of.

Ok the way it is Is press the clutch and brake together and release, then press acelerator and release it should start regeneration then but doesn't it's very strange as we have used vcds, vas odis and delphi diagnostics and the delphi is the only one that actualy starts to rev the car up to bout 1200rpm then just cancels again it's like it going to start and then says nah forget bout it haha
