VAS Diagnostic program Help please

Hello,

Vw group and all their brands (VW-AUDI-SKODA-SEAT) use a special program/test called VAS, but that's all I know...

Now, is there anyone that are familiar with the program and that could provide me with some information?

I would really appreciate some general infos on basically what it is, what it does and how its used..

Detailed information on where to connect it to the car to run the tests?

Check the Info link in my sig as I sell vagcom which does the same & if not better job, can post to sweden mate if neccessarry.

I've used VAS5052 & use vagcom daily, vagcom is better.

Is VAS and VAGcom the same thing, vagcom being more advanced?

IS there any chance that you could tell me what the unit does and what benefits you get from it? what are the Vw workshops using them for? and where are the unit connected?

VAS5051/52 are VAG's version for car diag & coding etc etc, vagcom is another version for same operations but I find it alot more user friendly & they all use the odb port down in footwell.

Cant list them all so please have a look at this site, I am cheaper than direct btw.
