Hey,

I notice a lot of you seem to have your own diagnostics capabilities...

How is this possible? Is this something on a laptop? What is VCDCS?

In brief, vcds cable is a diagnostic tool with back up software for the pc that allows you to scan for faults in your car or change settings to allow you to switch on other functions after retrofiting things like cruise control, rnse etc. One of the guys will probably be able to give you more in depth information.

Sandra has it pretty much spot on, you can download a limited free version but when you buy the genuine one (NHN on here sells them) the licence and key are stored in it unlocking the limitations of the software.
