Vag com issues

Hi guys have any of you guys that use vag com any idea why when I try running auto scan it doesn't seem to check central locking convenience module and other modules. It should come up a fault with my central locking because mine just doesn't work but nothing shows. Same when I try accessing this modules it says no response from module.

Full VCDS or aftermarket cable? Some are early Can Bus apparently but the module is a weak point especially if its been swimming....
Does the test show latency errors?

Hi it's vcds 12.12 I thinks it's aftermarket as in it was not bought from Ross tech also doesn't say anything about latency how do I go about getting full version without paying mega bucks?

The Chinese 12.12 should work OK
If you run the test it should give a report that will mention errors like latency...but sounds like its a bigger issue...
Do you get any message or just not found?

I found my RT VCDS was fussy on the convenience module, but my cheap k-line ebay one talks no issue lol... odd
