Every car should have a Camera! £50 or £500, Front only or Front and Rear, HD or 4K… with the state of the UK’s roads these days and the high percentage of questionable drivers who use them a Dash Cam can provide much needed evidence in the event of an incident, and any camera is better than no camera!

This vehicle was only really missing one OEM option, a reversing camera. Not anymore as @audisportnet member q5man popped over so we could fit a genuine OEM Original Audi Unit with wiring loom and 2 years warranty.

2017 Audi RS3 8V Saloon Active TPMS Supply and Remote Coding!

December 2018 - from Greece to Dubai

Although Audi sell their vehicles all over the world depending on the market / region they often restrict the available options. Using this rather nice UAE based RS3 Saloon as an example Audi only offer this vehicle with passive tire pressure monitoring as an option! The owner, not happy with this, wanted option to be able to see live tire pressure and temperature readings so reached out to VAG Car Coding in order to have the Active system retrofit to his vehicle.

Given that this RS3 is located in Dubai it would have been pretty hard for us to complete the install so while VAG Car Coding supplied the Genuine OEM hardware our colleagues @werksmotorsport Dubai completed the installation. Once all was in and connected VAG Car Coding then completed the needed coding and testing via a remote session!

Remote Session - 2016 Audi RS3 8V Sportback Magnetic Ride re-calibration and pre-delivery Diagnostic!

Greece to Telford, United Kingdom.

We might be away for the Holidays but we are still supporting our customers where we can!

This high specification RS3 has been sold by Automotive Addiction, but ever the perfectionists they want to make sure the vehicle is in perfect condition before the new owner takes delivery!

Fitted with Eibach Pro lowering springs & 20” OZ HLT wheels this vehicle has achieved a drop of 25mm, meaning the Audi MagRide controller would now be incorrectly configured supplying too much and indeed too little power to the dampers in order to keep the vehicle flat & controlled. This vehicle has now been correctly calibrated, including LED headlight level, and a full dealer level diagnostic completed with no issues found.

2010 Audi A1 8X 1.4TFSI Faulty MMI / RMC Replacement!

The owner of this vehicle was driving along one day, went to change the radio station and the control knob fell off! In a bid to try and fix the MMI / RMC unfortunately the situation was made a little worse as you can see from the attached images.

After sourcing a replacement MMI / RMC unit the owner found that installing it was not simply plug and play and reached out to VAG Car Coding™ for help.

2015 Volkswagen Scirocco R Headlight Replacement!

This very tidy Scirocco was reversed into by another vehicle. It looked as if there was no damage however over time the owner noticed water collecting in one of the headlights and shortly after it stopped working. In a bid to resolve the issue the owner replaced the headlight and related control modules, returning limited functionality but high beam and adaptive cornering lights would not work!

Does the “Professional” working on your vehicle have one of these?

Official VW Group network accounts require the use of an RSA SecurID to perform most functions, from Online Coding through to security functions like Component Protection removal and Key Coding. What is a RSA SecurID? Its a password which changes every 60 seconds, used together with a unique ID to connect to the VW Group servers in Germany.

If the person or company working on your vehicle is not using a RSA SecurID then they are using cloned or unauthorised VW Group Software and accounts. Since the beginning of 2019 VAG Car Coding™ has seen a massive increase in the need to “clean up” after a growing number failed and problem works which unauthorised companies and persons have tried to complete!

Lowered on Eibach Sportline springs, gaining 25mm drop at the front and a 20mm drop at the rear, the vehicle needed its Magnetic Ride System re-calibrated in order to make sure that the correct amount of power was being supplied its dampers to keep the vehicle controlled and compliant.

2015 Audi R8 V10 Plus Diagnostic, Calibration and Coding Session with Video in Motion!

Trip out to @qstuning to assist with steering related issues on @storm_r8 Audi R8!

It would seem that some “adjustments” were made to the steering and tracking while this vehicle was being wrapped and the breaks worked on! The steering wheel was a good 90 degree’s out, simple we thought but when adjusted the tracking rods were found to be massively out also! Once all was correctly set VAG Car Coding™ set to work updating and calibrating all of the vehicles systems, clearing 100% of the errors with Video in Motion and Speed Cameras added for good measure!

Not happy with his vehicles basic sound system, the owner of this Audi A3 popped over to the UK for the day so that VAG Car Coding™ could retrofit the Audi Sound System while he and a friend popped in to London for some sightseeing and shopping!

As standard the basic A3 sound system has 6 speakers. An Audi Sound System retrofit add’s a genuine front centre dash speaker and rear boot mounted subwoofer, making 8 speakers in total. VAG Car Coding™ offers a custom option in addition to the Audi Sound System… the “Plus”. This option upgrades the front door speakers from 20watt units to 40watt units using genuine OEM Audi parts and makes for a marked difference in both sound volume and quality.
