V5 question do i have to change owner from trade

bought an a3 from auction. looks like previous owner sold it to trade as yellow slip missing.

i have the v5 minus yellow slip still in previous owners name.

im planning on selling car on so do i need to change to my name first or keep this v5 so new owner can sign it

Believe you do, you may have to provide a copy? Of the Auction receipt
