Hi

New here - looking to buy used Audi S3.

Main Audi dealer has last serviced vehicle prior to sale however upon checking previous service history this has been done by a non Audi, independent garage.

Is this anything to be concerned about, normal or avoid.

Audi advise it doesn‘t affect resale or warranty as they are reselling the car and have last serviced it - is this salesman talk?

any advice welcome

thanks

As long as it's been serviced on schedule it should be fine.

I personally have no issue with an independent specialist service history, to be honest the service is probably more thorough than at a main dealer.

I totally agree. My local independent has looked after all of my Audis for more than twenty years. The level of care and attention and personal engagement is way beyond what any Audi dealer can offer, and they charge around 40% less. Where’s the decision?!
