Im having problems at the minute with my Audi A3 2.0 TDI DSG 2006 model, lately at speeds the car shudders like it is struggling for fuel, once it does this and i come upto a junction at low revs the car cuts out then will not start at all. The car has been to an Audi specialist 3 times in the last 3 weeks, first time it went they said the battery was dead, so they charged it and it started up fine, Second time i sent it back (sent it to them not starting), they said the battery had came in dead again, so put a new battery on. I got 20 minutes up the road and the car died on me once again. This problem has been haunting me since December, it had a new fuel filter put on as a garage thought it was that, its just had a new Fuel pump put on yesterday and the Audi specialist has rang me saying when they took it out on a test run it also died on them. Theyve checked the fuel tank which they said had some dirt and grime in but nothing major. Its been put on diagnosis machines a few times and getting no error codes, no ECU lights or nothing. Has anyone experienced this kind of problem and know what it could be? Im losing confidence in my car now when an Audi specialist cant even identify the problem! Thank you all. Kev

Have they checked that your Alternator is functioning correctly? If the battery keeps dying it might not be getting charged?? Not sure....
