Hey folks, been follow in the guide of how to do this and at the stage where this....see pic ....is different to the guide picture, I levered it off a bit, the circular bit, and there seems to be orange wound coils on the back, and there is talk of esp in the guide. I've no idea if I'm supposed to crack on and take off, as it seems the whole thing might unravel if I do!!

so anyone done this on an S3 and been faced with the same problem?

Don't lever that off... its the steering position sensor... the cowling needs to come off first and the stalks can be removed as a unit for easy disassembly

Here are a few pics of when I fitted cruise control to my A2...
My A2 'blog'... - Page 3

I didn't take pics of when I did my S3 but this is the same principle (and the same stalks)

Thanks tuffty! Hopefully I've not ******** that then! I did get a wee look in side it, and I've hopefully clicked it back together without upsetting anything! Time will tell!

well the bottom bit of trim is a bit tricky to pull out and down! Thought I was going to break something!

pull the left side out and slide to the right... should be obvious when it off lol
