Hi guys, I am working on replacing the fuel filter on my A3, but I cannot for the life of me get the rear clip back onto the new filter. Any tips or tricks?

I used some wd40. Just try press the clip all the way in and move the connector forwards and backwards on the filter. Don't use too much force because it would be a nightmare if you broke the clip!

WD40 didn't help, the clip was stuck in the depressed position, wouldn't come back out in any way. I ended up bodging it with a bit of fuel hose.
Two hours wasted on a damn fuel filter...
