UPS shipping cost inceases for the Xmas period.

Well it seems that UPS are using the Xmas holiday period as an excuse to charge more for shipping services .
And have I missed something , they make this statement on there notification "
During the holiday season, effective from November 4th, 2019 until January 10th, 2020"

I wasn't aware xmas holiday season started yesterday , and from my last 56 years on planet earth it never has done.
Just cashing in frankly.

Supply & demand, i'm surprised all the companies don't increase their prices over the festive period.

Its not for all ups packages, just the oversized/non standard type of parcel from what I can see.
Not that I'll be using them as I think it is profiteering and there is plenty of decent competition around to use instead
