When I first got my S3 I was very impressed by the sound quality and upgraded low end of the B&O. I've just left behind a 2010 B8 S4 which had a ported W7 running next to the B&O system. I now find myself having to turn up the volume in my car far too often, and never quite getting that "full" sound. I listen to a wide range of music but bass-heavy electronic and deep house are my loves. Sound quality > Loud bass, always
I haven't been able to find much information about the specs of the existing system, and am looking at options to run more power through the speakers, as well as adding a couple of sealed 12' pioneer subs and a separate amp to run just those.
Does anyone know what the loudspeakers would be able to handle/if it would be worth trying to run more power through them? Would removing the existing sub from the amplifier make the other speakers sound better?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
