Whats needed to upgrade a standard sound system to Bose? can the amp just be added to power the existing speakers?

Anyone done this and where does the amp sit, how easy to connect etc?

Don't bother get a decent aftermarket setup installed.

You would need to replace the whole stereo loom to install the Bose setup and it is marginally better than a stock system.

Been covered many times.

If you want to keep the stock headunit then look at using an Alpine Inprint processor with after market amps and speakers.

Cheers pretty happy with the standard sound anyway but see the bose amplifiers for sale, just wondered how easy and if worth it! not a big Bass head so will keep as standard!
cheers for that!
