Upgrade mmi standard to MMi Tech

Hi all,
I Have right now installed on my car the MMI standard: 5.8'' screen
My question is if i replace the main unit to "MMI Navi MIB High Main Unit 8W0035035" with larger screen and also for future upgrade to virtual screen...
It is possible or I need also upgrade more devices for that?

You can but it costs plenty, some aftermarket companies will do it:

You will might need new parts for the center console and the touch pad as well.

Broken link..but I saw lot in eBay.
My question is after upgrading that devices no need any update on odb computer iam talking about upgrade the mmi main console, screen and mayb replacing to virtual screen...
