Tyre speed and load rating a4 quattro 1999

I own a 1999 a4 quattro does any body know the tyre speed and load rating or where i can find this information.

should be in your manual.Otherwise a load index of 96 (xtra load) and a Y speed

I've checked this for mine (1.8T quattro) and according to the code printed on the sticker in the inside page of the service record book it would have been supplied from the factory with 225/45/17 91Y tyres.

what was the code in your service book ive checked all mine on this site VW Group Option Codes Decoder and i cant find any codes relating to tyres.

The code on mine was 'H6G'.

225/45r17 with a 91V

V is 150mph, and the car will only do 140ish, so V is plenty.
