Hi All,

As per the title - I have a 2011 3.0TDi A7 and would like to know if anyone can recommend a good set of tyres for the car?

Thank you

Surprised you haven't got Goodyear in the lest any reason for that ??
Having a quick search I think you have 19's with 255/40/19 tyres is that correct ??
Depends how much you want to spend and what your requirements are . Ultimate dry grip, wet weather performance, long wearing , cheap or do you want all of them ?? .

A good quality tyre with good reviews the Uniroyal Rainsport 3 just over £100 a go

Goodyear Eagle Assymetric, A recommended tyre for this car

Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2 probably the one I would pick.

Karl.

Hi Karl,

Thank you for the detailed reply, it has helped a lot.

I completely overlooked Goodyear... my main requirement would be good all round grip (even if that means a faster wear rate).
The Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2 do look like a great set of tyres.

Thanks again

Price aside, the best I’ve had in recent years are the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Incredible grip in summer and to be honest we don’t really get winters anymore, just rain which they’re fine with.

I’ve had my 2016 A7 272ps TDI from new and have just passed 110,000m in it. It has 20” wheels and air suspension - a rare option choice.

It came with Pirelli P Zero

I replaced those with Vredestein

They were replaced with Goodyears

Then Continental Sport Contact 7s

The Continentals beat all three predecessors for noise, grip and comfort.
