Tyre pressure - car systems

my tyre pressure in car systems just asks me to set pressure to be stored each time.

It never tells me what they are or if they need inflating.

Is it that basic or should it be showing me more?

If you have indirect ABS rolling radius TPMS then that’s all you will get, just the option in the MMI to ‘store current pressures’
If it’s direct TPMS ie sensor in each wheel then you’ll have a graphical image of the car and 4 wheels, each with pressure /and or temp next to them.

All my 2012 A7 allows me to do is store the pressures

 

[RAF_S7]

Only the RS7 has the Active TPMS as standard.

It’s not available as an option. Passive TPMS, using the ABS sensor is standard.
