Hi anyone know if there is a reason how the turbo can leak oil after the oil in line and out line have been replaced. I have a leak round about the turbo with oil hitting the hot manifold or exhaust . The garage thought it was the oil lines which they changed but i still think its leaking somewhere (still a bit oily and have the burning smell). The car isnt running smoky and is an a3 2,0 tdi with only 43k on it.

Silly question, I assume they have made sure it isn't the cam cover gasket leaking oil?

i doubt they have checked the cam gasket , the oil was seen at the back of the turbo, oil out pipe so they changed it but the leak was still there so they did the oil in line at the top but im sure it is still leaking there is oil residue around the top of the turbo were the inline is and there is enough oil leaking to leave the sump guard soaked
