Wanted TTS Engine Cover

Hello I’m looking for a TTS Engine Cover ASAP. Preferably second hand as it will be getting painted.

I just bought one brand new £150 including the x3 correct mounting pins for mounting in an S3 8P for example.

I tried for months to get one second hand for decent price but seems very difficult. There is currently one on eBay for £99, doesn't look too bad condition but then the mounting bots are about £30 anyway so not far from brand new pricing

Thanks for all the information. I have been looking for a while. I did order one from a seller in China that seemed to be all legitimate but sent me a false tracking number for another persons order. Just going through the motions with PayPal atm to see if I can get my money back. Hence why I’m trying to locate s/h as I’m already out of pocket.

No problem! Yeah I always wanted one but lost count of how many TTS ebay breakers ive messaged asking for one. Also facebook marketplace sometimes people are breaking golfs and tts with them fitted but again a hassle getting one for a decent price. I just bit the bullet after selling my van. On the plus side its actually muffled alot of the engine noises that appeared after fitting an intake, so the car idles quieter from inside the cabin like before which is a bit of a bonus!

That’s interesting to know about the sound insulation. It’s actually going to be going on my Octavia VRS Mk2 which could do with a bit of quietening down.

@Simonh46 You could have a word with Jamie who is breaking a TTS and see what he wants for the engine cover and bolts. I bought the gearbox and a few other bits off him.
