In readiness for stage 2 need to know if I can source one of these will it fit with ITG or similar in place ?

Oh yes, but you need to be careful as to which mount spiggots you buy for it. There are two different types and most people who've tried it seem to end up with the wrong ones first time round.
Speak to the Irish lad with the sprint blue S3 (Boydie) as he has done the conversion and been through the pain!
