TT Vents?

I'm wanting to put some TT vents on my S3 8P,
Are they a direct replacement?

Do i need to buy the full units or do the surrounds just swap over?

Yes they are a direct fitment, with any vents on 8P, make sure the vents are half open or you'll possibly damage the mechanics when removing/fitting.

Yeah they are as nige says. they come out with a bit of brute force and the TT vents are tight to get in. I've done this mod, ill try and find the link as I put up a picture too.

If you get them off eBay don't be shy to message asking for a better price. I got mine for £20 including delivery.

£20 for one or £20 for 4?
The ones I got were advertised for £45 I think it was, he was a breakers so I just went in there with an offer and he accepted it straight into his PayPal.

thats the mk1 TT vents... the mk2 ones are much nicer but pricey!

I got 5 for £45.

I used a hook straightened with the tip bent to pulled them out a little then Just jiggle them out.

Its easy and took 10 minutes.

Just use a flat piece of metal to put behind the sides & edge it out, then side to side, I used a normal kitchen knife, works a treat.
