TT-style vents for £30 !!

Was trawling the web for a new rear wiper motor for the wife's 6N Polo when I came across these :-

What do you guys think ? Has anyone bought these already ?

they are & they are ***** mate, they go over your existing vents as covers not actualy vents, did you want originals then?

I could never make up my mind what looked better A3 or TT, but what I'd like is to illuminate them with a circle of LEDs

But you've given me an idea now mate, lol, **** yeah, right down to maplins.

if the LEDs are under the surround and only peer through the exterior gap it could look cool like a low light ring

but might get a bit too distracting at night

dont wanna start dancing everytime the lights are on

& I know exacly where to get those led's as they use on another part of a car I used to have & run them from the night lighting circuits

Me parts guy has a job tomorrow now, lol.

You'd be lucky to get them under the surround tbh, but I've gotta take one out anyway to realign the sliding gates so I'll check.

The thing is the older 01-03 8L's had backlit vent dials so why they didnt come up with something for these is beyond me.

Are there any others about rather than the AWE tuning one for the A3 as i think it looks a tad tacky

It might look better in the flesh...
