Hello all,

Just had steering rack changed on my Audi S3. But now when i turn around corners with accelerator pedal down a bit ( not hammering it, just normal driving ), traction control is going berserk until wheels are straight. Anyone got any ideas?

Scan for fault codes in the first instance (ABS module in particular)

Typically this will either be a faulty ABS sensor/cable or your steering wheel is not on straight (had a recent wheel alignment?)... there are a couple of other things it could be but a scan is top of the list then post up the results

Had it tracked 2 weeks ago and the only fault code was the angle sensor so fixed that, its since then to be honest its started happening.

Steering angle sensor will cause this to happen... what was the code? how did you fix it? is the steering wheel on straight as you drive in a straight line? ESP relies on these sensors to know when you are turning so when it sees the inside wheel speed up (as it does) its from actually turning and not wheel spin

Think it was 007788, steering wheel off and turn it until it read 0° as it was reading -360°.

Am pretty sure that chap that has got VCDS did that. :(

Needs rescanning then mate tbh... clutching at straws else
