Tracker for insurance

Sorry, pretty ******* boring topic but insurers insist on a tracker being installed for cover to be valid for theft/attempted theft. Any thoughts/recommendations?
 
Ave never had insurance ask for a tracker yet and used all sorts
 
If the insurer asked you to fit one I'd ask them which ones they accept for insurance purposes, that way you can then look for the best price for ones they approve.
 
I'd look at a differant insurance company. If my car got stolen I wouldn't want it back, I'd rather have the cash!

I agree, try looking for someone who will insure without as the trackers on their list are quite expensive and then a small charge on top.
I am with AXA, but may be different in France where they appreciate that any thief going for high end cars will have a signal blocker in his/her tool kit, and with many of them having a shipping container close by, trackers become pretty useless, so these are not a requirement for us - instead we just have super high premiums!
