Saloon Tow bar

Hello all,

This is a bit of a strange one, I'm wondering if I can have a tow bar fitted to my RS3 Saloon? Audi don't sell one, one company said there isn't a towing weight for the car and a local guy that a friend has used before said the A3 tow bar will fit.

I want a removable one so it doesn't look pants all the time.

As the RS3 has no max train weight on the VIN plate it is illegal to tow with it.

Only legal use for a tow bar would be for a bike rack.

I think the reason you can’t fit one is because of the backbox across the width of the rear axel? Could be wrong though.
