Tottenham Riots(& other areas)

Guess whose back, back a again, lmfao, where you been hiding :)

Keeping a low profile for a while, finding myself, had a little run-in with a supercharged V8, moving house, buying more cars...but yep i'm back i'm afraid ;)

Got myself a nice little 8P S3 cheap as chips. I'll stick some pics of it up in a moment.

But rest assured i'm back all over ASN like a fat kid on cake.

This is just so out of hand now. It must be an absolute nightmare for those in all these areas. These yobs are someones sons/daughters,
where do their parents think they are.

That's half the problem, the parents...

Will be interesting to see what tonight brings. 16,000 officers I hear. I too wonder how long it will be before those being terrorised will take up arms jointly to defend what they have worked hard for.

Just getting updates from the wifey in Brum, they are being advised to leave Brum City Centre early as they are expecting double trouble later on!!!

Not good news my niece works there Nilz

I know Jase, very worrying!!

Get in touch and make sure they get out safe and sound, may sound a bit pansified, but in the bigger picture, is it worth getting caught up in it??

I think not....

we have heads up info, yet we still can't do anything to prevent it? how different is England to the third world then when disaster hits our home?

5000 armed policemen were used at the royal wedding...yet we had 1400 (not fully armed) last night, which was the third night of unrest and as for some papers it was all planned on twitter/facebook etc.

Call me delusional for what your opinion is, but I dont think the conservatives give a toss about this, they are not being harmed by this - its the working class who is, the poor have nothing to lose!

oh and any update on this cobra thing?

I don't think it's the governments fault. These are tough times but what has happened over the last few days is mainly down to young ASBO's and criminal gangs taking advantage of a situation.
Think it's partly endemic of the nanny state we have now become where police fear prosecution if they push someone over 'too firmly' and the criminals know this and exploit it.

Listen to these air head low lives ASBOs giving their reasons for the riot... that have no idea what they are talking about... they just see it as fun

I would encourage as many people as possible to do so........... After all the Cam-Moron has now officially decreed that we can all use whatever force necessary to defend our homes and businesses....

It looks like it won't be to long before more than a few take him up on the offer...!

My wife is on here way home now, she doesn't usually finish until 6.00.

She didn't even complain about the smell of gun oil in the bedroom last night :icon_thumright:

My misses never complains about my "gun oil" in the bedroom either ;)

Glad she's on way home safe, we've all been told we can leave early and dress down etc for the rest of the week too, or indeed work from home.

Disclaimer, my house doesn't look like this, well, it does, but without the guns. Staged photos for a laugh, all except the ammo store, that really is under my stairs, no restriction on where you keep shotgun ammo and I don't have kids.

This is nothing compared to whats to come.Wait till the benefit cuts etc start biting next year. And the government is making coppers redundant.Genius.One reason why the response time was so poor.Cos there aint many about. And therell be less next year.

This is a godsend to the federation.
Don't forget the prisons are overcrowded, they are already letting crims out early on tag so what happens now ?

The only time we'll see any escalation of police effort is if any of the critical locations (Westminster etc.) get affected. The rest of our lives / businesses / possessions are just collateral damage. For now a few feather dusters will get waved and a few people will get cautioned, and most will get less penalty than the average motoring offense.

To be frank this country is a joke, the government is a joke, the legal system is a joke, and to be honest when all these factors don't work it's just an open invitation for this behaviour. Interesting no one gets kettled and kicked to the ground when there is proper crime happening?? It just inspires me to move somewhere else even quicker.

Anyway, I'm off to get some cheap Carbrini tracky bottoms, Nike trainers and a lighty used LCD from e-bay ;-)

and its no good bringing the military in (military aid to the civil powers), as there wont be enough of them either. What a toilet this island is now.

While the vast majority of influential, wealthy and powerful individuals continue to have their own interest as a top priority, we will always live in a society where some people are lawless.

I have a solution, lets build a few more speed cameras!

Or....

We could get rid of a few more coppa's then we can buy another souped up BMW X6!

Tories- rich get richer, poor get poorer, in some ways it was only a matter of time before this happened.

Whose idea was it to vote these w*****s in again?

Pretty bad times all over the country, just spoken to a mate who lives in Nottingham and he tells me about an hour ago Canning Circus police station was petrol bombed twice by about 50/60 yobs. Its spreading like a virus in all the ferral scum of society.

if this is what todays youth are like then what is tomorrow's youth going to be like parents of these lossers i hope your happy with yourselves

Just heard about Notts and Bristol, Mancs was meant to be quite bad as well too!!!

Have been monitoring whats going on in Brum quite closely, the missus and my bro, both were told to leave work and the city centre at 4pm today for their own safety, as well as many other offices/companies.

Loads of shops and areas, closed off just gone past lunchtime!!!

I have been watching the news and various blogs and things are VERY bad over here at the mo.

Well im at work and one of our drivers has just been escorted by the police out of birmingham in his Lorry.

i was watching the news and saw one of those little hoodies swearing on camera. When asked why he is doing this he was blank. Its youth like that who are just doing this for status, his excuse was "we get stopped for no reason"

sorry but wearing a hoody and walking out all hours of the night makes you a target. when i was 17 i used to get stopped all the time. I even get stopped and searched now but no big deal. If you have nothing to hide and allow the officer to do there job then no problems. The moment you get out of your hooded apparel and grow some you wont get stopped.

On a more important note, southall the communities just stood up to fight back if anything happens. Ill be joining in if it moves over to my area. We need to protect the businesses and our areas not destroy them.

Photos sent in by witnesses London riots: Telegraph readers' photos of the rioting and looted areas of the city - Telegraph

I read about the turkish businesses and how they all stuck together and protected there area, the police stood and watched as the business owners ran out with knives and baseball bats and scared the little ******** away.

Oh and baseball bats and bateons have sold out on amazon!

Pretty scary stuff and hard to get a real handle on it from all the way Down Under. Not sure an extreme right wing approach is the right answer, but can certainly understand the sentiment.

Hope it all settles down soon.

was watching the news last night, that helpless guy with the rucksack was helped up on his feet only for the thevies to rifle through his stuff and helped them selves of the contents.
I hope you guys and gals are all ok

I saw that also, i was totally disgusted, i thought how decent of them to make sure he was ok, then to rob him, i dont have the words to
describe this whole situation, its just so awful for all those who have to live and work in these places.
