top mounts

does any one no of an easy way to replace the top mounts i have tried various ways today but just cant do it, anybody got any tips to make it easier

shocks didnt want to move going to compress spring loads more then get a jack under the shock to pop out also having trouble undoing the nut that holds the top mount on whats the best way to attack that
