That Integrale made my spine tingle, what an awesome car that was.

Makes the other comparable car of the time, the Escort Cosworth look pathetic.

I thought the balloon caravan thingy went on too long, they seem to be dragging out the features more in this series.

yeah totally agree. I know its funny the way they always destroy a caravan or serveral but come on the bbc's budget isn't that small is it?

Loved the Lancia's though. My dad had one back in 1990 i still remeber the blinding acceleration truly amazing car untill the gearbox ate its self on the m1.

Would have preferred a little more 'track' driving of the new Lambo! rather than driving round the uk roads ranting about how good it is!

I can't agree with you on that one mate, i cant see the lancia making the cosworth look pathetic to be honest. They are both fetching big books still to this day and i think 'Hammond' was being a little optimistic saying a lancia is worth 25k. Yes maybe an absolute mint ball er, but you would be expected to pay that for an escort cosworth in a mint non molested form. Granted they are hard to find in that condition but mine was 100% original with 26k on the clock and i managed to get 21k for it last year.

The lancia just looks a lot more special, and you rarely see one. the Escorts were everywhere back in the 90's
I cant disagree with you on that one mate. But people did'nt want the lancia due to many issues with them and the badge i think lol But i do too love the look of them

I still wished I had owned an Escort Cosworth! Don't think I would get one now....not having got used to the build quality of the Audi.

Funny they had the Intergrale on as I saw a minter on Saturday as one drove past me in my village. Thought at the time "WOW that's looks nice and that I hadn't seen one for ages".....

Did you all notice the hidden spolier that came out the back of the Thelma ? Didn't know they did that but it reminded me of the film "Taxi" and the guy in his 406!

The Integrale looks special even today.

iirc EVO did a shoot out feature with modern stuff a while back and reckoned it showed its age.

Who cares though, its the opitome of cool and looks ace:icon_thumright:

Liked the whole Lancia feature actually as Ive always liked contempary Lancias, Thema, Delta etc.. Always saw them as Alfas wacky cousin..

Agree the caravan feature was too long too.

cheers

i had a look on auto trader and to be fair there is couple of delta's on their for around the 25k mark, shame they are all left hookers mind,

i always fancied one as a young lad but had to settle for a fiat coupe turbo, same engine at least and worth peanuts in comparison
