Top end power loss after walnut blasting

I've just had walnut blasting done on my s3 (dsg), it now seems to pull hard low down the revs then just run out of power. It's also quite jumpy when coming on and off the throttle and the dv is a lot louder. Doesn't seem like a boost leak. It's still standard atm.Anyone else had anything like this.

Likeliest things are going to be air leaks from the manifold or piping attached to it,possibly even something not attached properly when the work was completed.
Also ensure that the runner flaps are working properly.
