Recent threads have persuaded me that accelerating is best with the throttle fully open but I am not entirely sure now.
Been experimenting with boost.
I reckon that acceleration in lower gears requires full throttle, but in 3+ gears the engine responds better to small increasing movement of the throttle and quite a lot is missed by fully opening the throttle.
Maybe its just me. But car certainly seems to respond better.
It this because fully opening the throttle may bypass the turbo if it's not running on full boost? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
