Fellow Audisport Guys and Girls,
Norfolk Constabulary used to run a Subaru enthusiast meet that attracted hundreds of like enthusiasts. Once a year they would gather together and form one massive convoy through Norwich city Centre for a few miles with police escort either end complete with closed roads and officers stopping traffic so right of way was purely theirs to show off their cars for all to see. I was involved a few times and it was brilliant to see and be part of.
I would like to put the feelers out to EVERYBODY on this forum to get an idea of who would be interested in being involved in the same kind of event to show off all of your cars? There would be no limitation on what cars would be eligable at all... if its an Audi its welcome. Much the same as Audis in the park.
I know for one that I would love to see an audi convoy 2 miles long with V10s and V8s bruising the atmosphere! And I shall certainly be at the front of the convoy leading you all to get the maximum publicity.
If enough interest is put forward I will approach the necessary persons to have it arranged. It would be Norwich so willing to travel will be essential but as far as such an event goes it really is great fun and an awesome way to show how beautiful Audis are.
If this interests you, please leave a comment and I will continue to edit the thread with names up top so we can see what numbers we have. To make it happen, it would have to be a significant number so if there ary other audi forums where this can be reposted please do so and add names here. If not interested fair enough or if too far away again thats fair. but please, interested or not please do not post any comments regarding dislike or abuse towards police as this is not an invitationt for such comments/discussion.
