Tried 0-60 for the first time since the remap and dead chuffed about it. I believe I could've done slightly better but still not bad.

For those wondering, the ECS diffuser was sent back AwesomeGTI as it had scratches all over. New one arriving in two weeks time.

You would spot the streaks immediately so I'd say you are all good!

BTW just a suggestion but you didn't need the AG Aquawax as the Megs and AG SRP would have taken it straight back off. Save yourself 5 minutes next time. :D

Cheers buddy. Wasn't planning on going for AG SRP at all. But then the car has that stupid AG Lifeshine applied to it and it has SWIRLS marks so, AG is a must to mask them. Started with Megs and when I finished I could still see some swirls so, I thought I'd use SRP to mask, which it did. It was all done by hand as I didn't have the time to do a proper correction, which I am planning on in September when I'll clay remove the AG LS and do a proper 3-stage correction with a DA and maybe C-Coating.

AG SRP is "filler heavy" unlike the Meg's stuff so is good at hiding swirls when working by hand.
I use always use a Meg's polish then Poorboys Diamond White glaze and Poorboys Natty Blue liquid wax over the top. All applied with a DA, seems to get good results on Ibis white paintwork.

    Cheers for the tip buddy. Might order a sample from CYC and try it out. I will give it a go and compare against CP Reload. Or perhaps go in the below order;

    1- Megs polish,
    2- AG SRP
    3- White Diamond and
    4- CP Reload

I think u would only need one polish, then a glaze to help fillnor hide anything u can't polish out then sealant/wax to protect.
The good thing about the glaze is that u can apply is over the previous wax then wax on top to layer it up without having to go back to the polishing stage each time, I glaze and rewards once a month, doesn't take too long tbh

@Tashfeen if it was me I'd just keep the Reload top ups going. It's easy. Dilute it 1:1 with water in a spray bottle. Apply to the wet car after washing, one panel at a time and dry as usual. Job done.

No need to do it every week. Every 3-4 weeks would do.

So, booked in my car today for her first MOT, brake fluid change and end-of-warranty checks.

I ran a Carista night and it showed me the below four fault codes but no warning on the DIS, at all. Below are the error that I got:

I informed Oxford Audi only about ABS and they said they will look at it as part of warranty checks/MoT. I cleared all the codes last night and took the car to Audi Oxford this morning. The only reason for doing this was the fact that I had cleared them previously and they came up again. So, I thought they will / should be picked up by Audi as soon as they hook-up the car in the morning

Also, back in July last year when I bought the car I had the brake pad light come up on two occasions and the second time Oxford Audi replaced wiring harness for the N/S/F brake pad warning system (I have the proof of work carried out and I am sure they will have a copy too).

    Problem Statement :)
As we all know my S4 is remapped, lowering springs installed and rear ARB fitted. The remap and all the other mods were done after the wiring harness was replaced.

As part of warranty checks and any fixes thereafter, I wasn't sure if Audi would honour the warranty and fix the ABS issue as part of it being identified within warranty period. And if not, how likely it is that they will blame the remap and the mods for the ABS error.

    Other bits
Off course no software/firmware updates and washing.

    Update on the above

So, the car passed its first MoT and brake fluid changed and imo the brake and the bite is now exactly how it should be. Whilst I know it should be done at 3 years part of me thinks 2 is just about the right time to change brake fluid.

I picked up the car @6pm and although I had said I wanted to meet the 'master-tech' to understand exactly the end-of-warranty checks they carried out there was only one guy waiting for me to pick up the car, which is understandable; it is Friday, 6pm and everybody wants to leave and so everyone did. And had I not called them I don't think they were going to contact me and tell me the car was ready for collection. Well, wasn't expecting anything better from Oxford Audi and glad they didn't disappoint.

However, the concerning thing was that the final report said they couldn't find any fault codes (specially the ABS one that I mentioned) when they ran the scan which I am not sure is a good thing or bad. It makes me question if they actually carried out any end-of-warranty checks. The reason I ask is because when I left Audi Ox @3pm they had just started changing the brake fluid. To finish the brake fluid change, run the scan and do the visual checks as well as end of warranty in 2.30 hours, I am not convinced. Also, how can VCDS not pick it and Carista can - I find it slightly difficult to understand.

I will call them tomorrow morning and would ask if I could speak to their master-tech and find out exactly what had happened, what did they do as part of warranty checks.

And the headline of the day is:

I met @bobby singh on my way to Heathrow to pick-up a friend as I offered him to test drive my car to find out the difference in ride between H&R Sports Springs and Eibachs. Not sure if I made it any easier for him but at least we both tried to find out which one offers better ride comfort... I am not going to tell you guys which ones he preferred as it might be seen as biased view

And then I sat and drove Bobby's 3.0 Tdi and; if you guys know of anyone looking at buying a well-maintained, low-mileage and remapped S4 well give them my details. I want to buy a 3.0 and hand it over to Bobby to do his magic. His is a TORQUE MONSTER, it actually brings the smile on your face when you put your foot down. TBH, I was not expecting it from an Avant let alone a diesel. Hats off to him and what he has produced or perhaps done to his car. I also had the privilege to see his garage and I did suggest he should post his workshop/garage to the obsessed garage team. A true gentleman and an artist! Thanks for your time bobby and I'll see you soon with my wife's A4.

Tash its the Eibach's for sure I just hope they produce same results on mine as they do on your's.
The Diesel is perfect for what I use the car for (long work journey) but the S4 is plenty fast imo.
    I'll give you a shout when I mount the S200 back :)

I don't doubt that Bobby has built an amazing diesel torque monster, but I do doubt that if you go to the extremes of the TFSi/charged that you wont feel the same about it . Now,nothing against Bobbies monster motor, but I am willing to bet that if you step up and get some extra spins on the charger you will wow again ;)

You are always welcome to try mine, incase you wonder :)

Agreed XP. After the minor hiccup my S4 is back to where it should be and it does bring smile every time I drive it and I am absolutely loving it now.

In my above post I was appreciating Bobby's efforts and the surprise factor of a diesel, something that I had never experienced before. The max power diesel that I have driven was a 245hp (BMW 3 Series) and it was OK-ish, no wow factor. So I was genuinely surprised as well as impressed! Bobby's car wasn't running with the S2000, which helps produce little over 900Nm worth of torque but a mini Garrett turbo hitting 340hp but still producing over 600Nm - quite remarkable imho. The other wow factor was getting the same feeling from a Diesel Bus that I get from an S4 Saloon hence the appreciation!

I am driving up north for a week next week including couple of days in Snowdonia and Lake District. Cheshire Oaks is where she will be happy to let me go and have some 'fun' time and if we could meet depending on your availability. I'll let you know

Just to clear up - My car at the moment is running a hybrid 2260 for testing purposes it dyno'd at 426hp/ 870nm. However, I have turned down the fuel and boost so on paper should be around 400hp (didn't bother to dyno it again)
So Tash drove it with around 400hp.

XP you run a smaller pulley than Tash?

24,000 rpm is about the max they can handle, but IAT's get a bit crazy so I opted for slightly less.
I was making 500HP but bleeding boost after 3,000 rpm at the time.I've not had it back on the rollers since then, but I have 0 boost bleed now
