TMC Tuner

Hi

Ive got an RNS-D sat nav in my s3 but comes up with the "connection to the RDS-TMC tuner is faulty" ive read that is the TMC Tuner but where is it? ive heard someplaces its in the boot and others under the instrument cluster.

Im welcome to people telling me different as would love to listen to the radio again.

I don't knnow the answer I'm afraid but it wouldn't hurt to just take the RNS out a take a look behind. If it looks anything like the Seat TMC box it will be aluminium,so easily spotted.

TMC Tuner box that's TV box and it is located on the boot where the subwoofer is just next to cd changer.

Some people fitting it also on the behind passenger rear panel.

TMC box isn't a TV tuner,it manages the traffic jam updates etc. TMC is built into the new RNS-E but a seperate unit on the RNS-D.
