Timing

I have an Audi A6 C5 2.5TDI 2000 model. The belt for the injection pump snapped, I have now replaced it, but cant get the car to start. I used the locking pin on the pump and set the cam so the OT mark i shows, can someone please give me some pointers how to fix this.
 
Hey, is there any chance the pump belt got caught or managed to jump the cambelt timing at all?

If the fuel pump is locked up with the pin (roughly in the 12 o'clock position) and the camshaft mark is visible from the oil filler cap (NO3 cylinder tdc iirc) and the camshaft and crankshaft are timed up it should fire straight up.
