hello first post on here, i have a 2.5 v6 tdi 2000 reg passat and the auxiliary belt went but was told to replace cam belts and waterpump and thermostat at the same time, i started the job and got the waterpump and thermostat done but the timing is out, i have lined up the crankshaft and the top right cam but the top left one has no markings that correspond with anything, any one able to tell me what position the cambelt runner should be facing? it has a dot on it but nothing to align it with?
