Had my A1 185 Black Edition (1.4 TFSI) serviced and MOT'd last week, and whilst talking to the mechanic, I mentioned I have to have the timing belt changed this year as it was overdue. He said they don't need doing as the TFSI engines have a chain not a belt.
That's news to me. Is that right?
