I know the feeling, the other morning my exit out of our driveway was partially blocked by an ambulance attending a incident with a neighbours child which meant I had to mount the kerb to get out. Unfortunately it seems I have slightly kerbed the n/s front alloy. And my karcher that I purchased a few years ago, which I just got out of the shed today to snow foam my car, has a crack in its casing and leaks. Only used it once as well.
Brown stuff happens it seems and they travel in pairs...

Touché. I knew the moment I woke up it was gonna be a funny day haha. You quickly learn not to wrestle with these kinds of days.

Just my mutual dislike of a cracked windscreen :D (mine isn't cracked but i feel for our fellow forumite Mr thundercliffe!)

Thanks bro. So...is the B9 acoustic windscreen just always going to crack when it gets a chip now? My B8.5 took some hammerings.

Well needed and long overdue clean. Very dull day so no sparkle and pops captured on the Daytona. Some better photos tomorrow if you believe the weather dude!

I have to say I'm growing a real hatred for these wheels, they always look dirty because of the matt finish, and are a right pain to clean!
Hoping the Gyeon Rim will help matters when I finally get the time to take the wheels of to do them!

I do prefer the more matte finish. Hide dirt real well. Trying not to obsess too much on this car this time round. It needs claying already! But not keen on that.

Out in Perthshire highlands this week. Very narrow roads and a fantastic Loch road around Loch Tay. Have to say, the handling and not only the performance but, the access to that performance, is so good. Very nimble and turns in like a dream. Brakes are superb.

If I could just get used to that 'wooshhhhhh' turbo sound, I'd love this car! Very different relationship to that of my B8.5. That car had all the character and soul with some numb handling. This car is the exact opposite for me. A truly Great Leap Forward for the S4. Just the sound/soul.

Great roads up here though!!

Having issue with my Data sim. It's been on and off for a while but now, there's nada. Zilch. No services available.

Data connection is greyed out and online services are not available. Google Earth not loading and all Audi connect services are down. On top of that, my license period is only 12 months. Not 36. Due to end in December.

Anybody else having issues with Data?

Cheers.

Does restarting the MMI help at all?

Press Nav and Radio buttons up, and press MMI wheel in all at the same time.

Morning.

Yeah, that hasn't worked either. Time to try factory reset.

So, popped into Harrogate Audi to perv on the RS4s (again) but they were out the back. Seen these instead. They're still building so not much on show. Seeing lots and lots of B9 S4s. Hmmmm. Hardly EVER seen a B8/8.5. Odd that...

Do you know if that's a holder for the number plate or is it part of the grill?

I'd tried to find this out before and the best conclusion is that the Euro spec cars come with it attached as one piece it seems.

You can see the horizontal slats seem to stop at the number plate holder in the picture.

Yeah I know, not ideal.

I think the option I'll be going for is waiting for Mark at BroTek to get RS grills in that have the removable plate bits.

Looking forward to see what they say.
I'm getting the message Re: data pop up about 4-5 times every journey!

...thought you might have been tempted by
DeanoC RS4 in the classifieds:whistle2:

Oh I was buddy. I was! Haha. But not got cash outright for that haha. Incredible mods he's made. Love his thread. I'll keep you posted on the data element. It could be an issue Audi wide in time. S4 build at least.

Still not heard back from Audi

One week I've been away. One week!! Not even that...5 days haha. I have empathy for the guy with the 'bird poo' thread. Quick wash!

Looks like that coated the wheels I brake dust too cheeky ******** eh

Yeah. Comes off pretty easy to be fair. But my parking space 'allocation' isn't ideal. Haha. Good that I have eyes on from my apartment but under a big *** tree!

That's good to hear I have the same wheels on order and I doubt they will be washed the few weeks when I'm away offshore

Tbh, I was lazy and didn't coat them. But they're easy to clean. The RS4 20s in this style look epic.

Looking good there. I really like Daytona. Yes the rs4 20 inch Ines are really something with the slight concave they have over ours that's the reason I chose them plus I wasn't sure if the more expensive 19s reminded me of skoda vrs wheels?
