Thuds into first gear

I have an automatic 2011 plate S4 and sometimes the first gear sort of thuds in thus sending anyone in the car forward

Thoughts?

Mine does the same, has done it the whole time I've had it, serviced etc, doesn't make a difference. Doesn't do it in manual, only in D
