Throttle sticking

Hello everyone
Been a few years since i have posted any thing..lol
Pulled the s3 out this weekend after about 6 years...
The issue i have is the throttle sticks or holds when changing gears.
I have checked for faults with vcds and nothing.
I have also done a adaptation on the throttle but it is still the same.
Anyone point me in the right direction please.

Common cause for that is a faulty clutch switch...
