In order to try and help a fellow Audi-sport.net member who has fallen on hard times I have offered to sell his brand new and sealed Thinkware U1000 1CH Front Facing Dashcam for him, together with a free hardwired installation!

This Thinkware U1000 can be expanded with both the rear facing camera unit and external radar is needed, comes supplied with a 32GB SD Card and also includes an official Hardwire kit.

I am willing to complete a professional hardwired and insurance safe installation at no extra cost however if the purchaser wishes to add a rear camera to the system I would ask an additional £45.00 to install.

The RRP for this version of the Thinkware U1000 is £339.00.
The VAG Car Coding price for a single channel Dashcam installation is £65.00.

I am asking £300.00.

Very interested for price. The U1000 has mixed reviews for reliability so want to ensure that manufacture warranty aspect is covered also.

brand new and sealed unit, full warranty. Camera was purchased Monday 13th July and delivered today Tuesday 14th July. Never had an issue with any of the Thinkware Dashcam systems I have supplied and indeed installed, U1000 included.

Looks like a good bit of kit and a good price.
Especially like the radar option for 24 days of Parked recording.
Will probably consider this on my next car.
