Thinking of selling up ( how much is my s3 worth thread)

i know this has prob been covered plenty of times just want a roungh indication on whatt price i should put the s3 up for its 2001 reg tottaly standard , 71k mot untill april , tax untill end of june , wheels have slight kerbing form previous owner , leather is in ver very good condition , bose sound system , 2 keys full service history cambelt done last feb ive only owned the car for couple of months , after selling my mk1 focus rs i thoufh i wanted something with a bit of power and comfort but i think i was wrong so onyl reason i want to get rid is to get a mitsubishi EVO 6 , wont let me put pics on for some reason? cant seem to add more pics so heres a link to the show us your motor

No seriously, between 6-7k, maybe more depending on colour and spec.

i paid 6400 for it just over 2 months ago , its silver heated leather recaros , rcl,ew,6cd changer, bose system,climate control , xenons , only things it doesnt have are cruise control , heated front screen , think thats it , in my eyes its a clean one as thats why i got it

also i see on ebay and piston heads there going for quite alot some with 40k going near 10k is this right?

link doesn't work...... erm you wont find a 51 plate going for anywhere near 10k, unless the owners seriously dreaming and not bothered about selling

im not saying mines worth that im not selling to get a profit i just want what its worth or just slightly less so can get another car that suits me more

I reckon 6K still, slap it up for 7.5K and take a lower offer. You should break even at least though, looks a nice car and if I was looking for one I'd certainly come and have a look at it
